This Sunday, we had the immense privilege of celebrating the elevation of our beloved Very Rev. John Kunnathusseril to the esteemed position of Cor-Episcopos.

Your tireless dedication and spiritual guidance have been the cornerstone of our Dallas Orthodox community. Achen led St. George when we were going thru the tough COVID era and persevered with God's grace.

The ceremony was a beautiful tribute to your leadership and unwavering commitment. Messages of appreciation and love poured in from our members of our congregation, celebrating your remarkable journey and the impact you've had on all our lives.

May God continue to guide and bless John Achen and his ministry.

With heavy hearts, but hope in the resurrection, we regret to inform you that Mr. Chacko Thomas (76), sibling of our members, Chacko Itty, Chacko Kurian, Sophy Chacko (T.C.Chacko), was called to eternal glory on July 20, 2024, in Albany, New York.
Wake will be on Sunday, July 21st and Funeral will be on Monday, July 22nd at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in Albany NY. On behalf of our Vicar, Managing Committee, and the entire St. George family, I extend our deepest condolences to all grieving family members. May we surround them with prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. May the departed soul rest in peace.

Today, we gather to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable priest of our Church, Rev. Dr. T. J. Joshua (97), affectionately known as "Guru Ratnam."
As a senior priest of the Malankara Orthodox Church, Achen's dedication, wisdom, and leadership have left an unforgettable mark on our community. We remember Achen's tireless efforts, his unwavering commitment, and his selfless service to our church. His contributions have been invaluable, and his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to Achen's grieving family. May they find strength and comfort in the love and support of our church community.

Achen is one of our senior priests from our diocese who has held multiple integral positions throughout his ministry.
Achen was serving the Sacramento, CA church most recently, and is now settled in the DFW area with his family. May God continue to bless your ministry and we hope that you will come back to our Church soon!
