After months of higher-than-normal water levels throughout the community due to the surplus of rain this past spring, levels are finally back within their normal range.

The lower levels are thanks to this summer's extreme heat causing evaporation, as well as our ability to drain larger amounts of water back to the Trinity River, now that the river once again has the capacity to hold more water.
