On May 22, Medical City Las Colinas colleagues wore pink to recognize the first-ever World Preeclampsia Day. The education event raised awareness of preeclampsia, a complication of pregnancy that usually begins after 20 weeks and where patients might have high blood pressure or other signs of organ damage. If left untreated, it can lead to serious, even fatal, complications for both mother and baby.
Thank you to our women's services and maternal program teams for providing vital education to improve lives in our community.

This week, Medical City Las Colinas leaders and colleagues hosted a potluck celebration to honor Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This celebration was not only a delightful gastronomic experience but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about and appreciate the traditions and stories behind each dish.
