In 1966, upon prohibition’s repeal and the end of the notorious bootlegger’s era of the Gold Coast, C. “Kats” Katsaboulas established Kats Wine & Spirits as Mississippi’s first legal wine and spirits shop. Our prayers go out to the family and many friends of Robert Anderson. We are blessed to have called Rob a dear friend for many years. Rob's friends and acquaintances will remember him for his magnetic personality and big heart. Rob's unique combination of great intelligence, unmatched wit, fierce loyalty, and a very generous spirit made him special. Friends like Rob are incredibly scarce, and he will be sorely missed by many. Rob left his friends a wealth of great memories, and we will fondly remember him.
