Embee COVID Policy and questionnaire

Due to the current climate of climbing Corona positive tests, and
most people's inability to understand protocols when awaiting results, exposures, and having symptoms, we have formulated the following questionnaire to do our best to keep you, us and our other patrons healthy and safe.

Please take a look below and let us know if the answer to any of the questions is yes so we can assess if its safe for you to come in, if we need to make special accomodations or if we should possibly reschedule for another time.

The nature of Tory’s and my profession is that we don’t have the luxury of working behind a computer to make a living, pay our overhead and maintain a client base; therefore we take your health and safety, as well as our own very seriously. Transparancy and honesty are of the utmost importance to be confident in meeting our goal of health and safety.

We are asking that everyone wear masks while in close proximity to us at the shampoo bowl and while we are actively cutting/coloring and styling your hair. Due to the nature of the questions below and the safe social distancing of our chairs, masks not required while processing and sitting at your station, but we require a mask worn at any time you are up walking around. We have been extremely conscientious in our sanitation practices at the salon and work diligently to keep the salon at a maximum capacity of 8 ppl total (6 including us at our station area).

1.Are you experiencing or have you experienced any of the following symptoms within the last 7 days:
Fever 99.9 and above
Coughing
Loss of taste/smell
Chills
Body aches
Headache

2. Are you OR anyone in your household awaiting COVID test results?

3. Have you traveled on an airplane in the past 2 weeks?

4. Have you been notified by someone that has tested positive that you were exposed to in the past 2 weeks?

5. Are you immuno-compromized?

🍍IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD ARE AWAITING COVID-19 TEST RESULTS PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT UNTIL AFTER YOU AND ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS TEST NEGATIVE.

In an effort to limit capacity, no walk-ins.

🍍Upon arrival, your stylist will direct you to a sanitized station and provide you with a smock. It is recommended that you wear a collar-less shirt to easily slip the smock over, as there will not be any hooks to hang clothing in the restroom with other client's clothing.

🍍Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled time and if you are late, it may cut into your finish/blowdry time. If more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule.

🍍We require that you wear a face covering, due to the close proximity that our work requires.

🍍No additional guests will be allowed in the salon until further notice due to capacity restrictions. We love your families, however; we ask that you don't bring children, friends, spouses or caretakers, unless they have a scheduled appointment during your appointment, until restrictions are lifted.

🍍Our stylist chairs are 6 feet apart - ALWAYS!

🍍Our sanitation process is to wipe all chairs and stations before and after each guest with approved sanitizing agents. Shampoo bowls/chairs are sanitized after each use. The restroom is checked and sanitized throughout the day. All door jambs, light switch plates, and other surfaces are sprayed with Lysol or approved sanitizing agents each evening before we leave.

🍍If you are sick, coughing or have reason to believe that you may have been exposed to someone that is sick, please let us know so we can reschedule you. The health and well-being of each other counts on everyone being honest, as do our livelihoods.

If you have an upcoming appointment with us at Embee Salon, Tory and I want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to properly sanitize before, after and between each client. We are also spacing clients to limit capacity to 6 people and in the salon at any time.

We will remain open unless there are mandated closures. We ask, for the safety and well being of us, our families, and our clients, if you have reason to believe you have been exposed to the Coronavirus, have symptoms of and/or you are not feeling well, or you have traveled outside of the U.S. in the past 2 weeks, please text or call us so we can postpone your appointment.

We also understand the uncertainty, if you are following self quarantine precautions for any reason, please let us know and we'll postpone your appointment to a later date.
