On June 25, the Phoenix Arts & Innovation District received unanimous approval of its $5.5 million incentive package and multifamily rezoning from Jacksonville's City Council.

This win allows Phoenix Arts to continue with the next phase of their regenerative placemaking project, which will bring creative offices, community gathering spaces, event spaces, affordable art studios and galleries, retail, and more to .

Last week, the Wingard PR team was thrilled to help announce the game during a launch event at Visit Jacksonville's downtown visitor center — and afterward, the Monopoly man himself took a stroll downtown to get to know the city. We even caught it in action! 📸

We recently teamed up with Ryan Ketterman Photography to coordinate and creatively direct a photoshoot for David Gray Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Air.

David Gray's working culture values professionalism, honesty, dependability, and innovation, so we wanted the photos to reflect that. In addition to the fleet vehicles, detail shots, and drone footage, we focused on the individuals who make the David Gray team the best in the business.

We couldn't be more proud of the way these turned out! Huge props to Ryan for his incredible work.

Diana Donovan, Executive Director of the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, and Jason Peoples, Executive Director of Jacksonville Arts & Music School, joined First Coast Connect host Anne Schindler to discuss the return on investment regarding tax dollars spent on arts and culture.

Many folks don't know that our client partner, the Cultural Council, is actually a nonprofit supporting the City in providing civic funding to cultural organizations and artists throughout Duval County.

On May 11, the Wingard team laced up our running shoes and celebrated Mother's Day the DONNA Foundation way! This year, the ICE DONNA Mother's Day 5K amassed more than 1,000 runners, who all came out to celebrate every mom and survivorship. The race supports the Foundation's critical programs, which help to remove barriers to care for breast cancer patients across the nation.

Through account services, PR, and social media, we couldn't be prouder of the work our team is able to collaborate on with our nonprofit client partners like DONNA!

April was an incredible month for our client partners! From new local art venue openings to philanthropic real estate competitions and annual arts showcases, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell so many stories about the good happening in our community.

1) The operators of the Glass Factory event space in the Rail Yard District are launching a new event space in the Phoenix Arts and Innovation District called the Emerald Station.
2) The Cathedral Arts Project hosted an annual Performing & Visual Arts showcase, allowing students to showcase their work in a professional gallery and theater.
3) 300+ people who work in the Northeast Florida real estate and infrastructure industry recently competed in the 2024 Real Estate & Infrastructure Games to raise money for area nonprofits. Hosted by England-Thims & Miller engineering consulting firm and in partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation, the event raised $35,855.

Thought we were finished celebrating MOCA's 100th anniversary? To highlight the museum's centennial, our team also designed striking outdoor advertisements meant to lead you straight to the wild side. You can celebrate all spring long — MOCA's Norman E. Fisher exhibit, A Walk on the Wild Side, is showing now through July 7.

MOCA serves our community through exhibitions, collections, educational programs, and publications designed to enhance its patrons' understanding and appreciation of contemporary art — particularly emphasizing works created from 1960 to the present.

This oldie-but-goodie just celebrated its 100th anniversary, and we were tasked with highlighting this achievement, as well as MOCA's current exhibitions and Centennial Gala. Our team crafted logos, gala invitation designs, and swag including buttons, bookmarks, and stickers to celebrate this community favorite the way it deserves!
