Janesville Mobilizing 4 Change (JM4C)
Creating a healthier, safer community for our youth Local problems require local solutions. Together, we create a safer, healthier community.
JM4C is a state certified prevention agency with a focus on reducing substance use and promoting mental wellness. In cooperation with our community coalition and partners, we raise awareness, take action, and advocate for change.
Remember there is always someone available.
The Janesville Police Department Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) was developed to enhance the safety and well-being of individuals experiencing mental health crises while providing effective, compassionate, and appropriate police responses.
The Janesville Police Department Crisis Intervention Team continues to foster partnerships with mental health professionals, community organizations, and social service agencies to ensure that individuals in crisis receive the necessary support and resources.
The Janesville Police Department has implemented a full-time social worker from Rock County Crisis to work alongside our officers and provide immediate, on-site assistance during mental health-related calls.
For questions or additional information regarding Crisis Intervention contact Rock County Crisis and Connections Line at 608-757-5025 or visit their website at:
