Using the correct equipment is one of the easiest ways to prevent injury in the workplace. Our facility manager, Todd, held a training about choosing the correct PPE. This training included hands-on demonstrations to show the differences of well-fitting and poor-fitting equipment, as well as the importance of near-miss reporting. This is a very important part of successful safety culture because it allows us to correct issues before they result in serious injuries or concerns.

We work hard to maintain a safe environment at the yard for both of employees and our customers and hope you are able to see that while you’re here at the yard!

We are so thankful to everyone who came out for the OccuPaws Guide Dog Association event we hosted with The Boneyard!

We were able to raise over $5,500 thanks to your generous donations, as well as donations from The Boneyard, Tito's and donations at the event. We are so proud to work with OccuPaws, and thankful to the Boneyard for partnering with us for this event.

Alter Trading is honored to celebrate the 40th work anniversary of Crane Operator Dennis “Denny” Breczinski. Denny started working at our Marshall, MN yard right out of high school and has seen lots of changes over the years. Through those years Denny has learned to run multiple pieces of equipment proficiently and efficiently. We kind of think of Denny as “Do-all Denny” on account of his ability to run all of the equipment, his history with the equipment and his knowledge of what might be the best tool for the job. Denny is definitely not afraid to learn a new piece of equipment or try something new. Congratulations, Denny!
