Final day of VBS! It was a blast and of course we finished with our very famous slip and slide. These children learned 6 Bible verses this week and the took a journey from Genesis to Revelation. Thank you to all the volunteers and buyers of supplies! We could not do this without you! A special thank you to all those who have prayed for the students and workers. We have had an amazing week!

Day 3 was crazy hair day! We learned about Jesus Christ and the cross of salvation. What a precious gift to be able to tell the next generation that Jesus loves them. We also had a precious sister walk the property and pray for the seeds we are planting, watering and harvesting. God is always good and we have been able to see His goodness each day this week!

Day 2 was wacky and tacky and we learned about confusion: God scattering the people after they tried to build a tower. We are tired, but looking forward to day 3!

VBS Day 1 in the books! We had a great day learning about creation, corruption, and catastrophe. We learned 3 Bible verses and had a great day! Please continue to pray for these children to learn the truth about our great God!

Can't wait to celebrate these High School Seniors this week at Corner-Stone Church! They've grown up a little over the years! Really great young men and women. So proud of them!!!

So proud of these Preschool Graduates! Not only did they learn Bible verses each week of the school year, but today quoted their selected verses in front of everyone from memory!!! So thankful for the teachers at Corner-Stone Church Preschool for pouring into these children!

Join us this morning at Corner-Stone Church for an Outdoor Worship Service and Picnic. It starts at 10:30am. Bring some chairs to sit on and a dessert to add to our bbq picnic. If you are guest, please don't worry about a dessert, we will have PLENTY!!!

Well, it ended up taking 21 hours instead of 12, but now 60 pounds of meat is resting before being pulled. CS family and friends, don’t forget, outdoor worship and picnic tomorrow starting at 10:30am. Bring chairs and a dessert and ask some friends to join you. We have a Plan B in case it rains so come rain or shine.

CS Family and Friends, remember that this Sunday, May 5th, is our Spring Outdoor Worship and Picnic. It will begin at 10:30am. Bring chairs or a blanket to sit on and a dessert to share. We will provide all of the other food and drinks! This is a great time to bring some friends to church!

Some would say that the whole concept of "Heaven" is just a way to escape the harsh realities of the present world. However, that is not the Biblical concept of Heaven. Heaven is not escaping, it is fulfillment. Every promise, every hope, every intention of God that was broken by our sin will see its final fulfillment in the work of Christ for all those who placed their faith in Him and His redeeming work. This is our HOPE this Monday morning.

Have you ever wondered what preaching was like in the early days of Christianity? Join us this morning at Corner-Stone Church as we look at Peter's second sermon as recorded in the Book of Acts. Our service begins at 10:00am and we will have some coffee and refreshments ready for you at 9:30am.
You can also bring the children to join us after the service as we celebrate NEW LIFE at our SpringFest at 11:15am.

Well, it's a good thing that I am not a weatherman. We changed the time on our SpringFest event at Corner-Stone yesterday in anticipation of the 1-2 inches of rain they had forecasted and we WILL STICK WITH THAT CHANGE even though right now it looks pretty amazing out there.
The new time is tomorrow, March 24th at 11:15am, right after our morning worship service that starts at 10:00am. Hope you can bring your children out for church and the activities afterward! There will be a free pizza lunch with this event.

CS Family and Friends, help us spread the word! We are changing our SpringFest activities from tomorrow to this Sunday, March 24th, after our morning service. While the rain will probably be gone by Saturday, the grounds are already muddy even before the rest of the rain comes tonight and in the morning. So join us after the service at 11:15am this Sunday for our games and Egg Hunt. We will also have a Pizza lunch for all of the participating families.

The C-S women got away this weekend. We learned more about Jesus and each other. Thank you to all the husbands who made it possible for all of us to get away and refuel. Until next year ladies!
