We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Michael Benz, who has served as Medical Director of the Structural Heart Program at Jersey City Medical Center, will be strengthening his relationship with Hudson County’s only cardiac surgery program when he joins RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group this September. 🎉
As a member of the Medical Group, Dr. Benz will continue is his leadership role with JCMCs program that is experiencing significant growth, and is cementing its position as the leading provider of minimally invasive heart procedures in Hudson County and the surrounding region.
As Medical Director, he will function as a member of Jersey City Medical Center’s structural heart team, along Kimberly Skelding, M.D., Division Chief of Cardiology, Deepak Singh, M.D., Chief, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Surgical Director of Advanced Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support for JCMC, and Persida Drotar, M.D., Cardiothoracic Surgeon, a team boasts more than 40 years of collective experience and collaborates to drive the highest quality outcomes.

Last night’s self-care soiree at the cancer center was everything: From groovy beats 🎶 to soul-soothing sound bath and meditation, we vibed our way into Pride weekend in Jersey City!
We whipped up our own custom bath soaks (because self-love deserves a personalized touch!) and chatted with our fabulous oncology specialists. Plus, we scheduled those all-important cancer screenings – because health is wealth!💖
