Artists can register open studios, curators and gallerists can list

Tonight! Zoom link in bio for tonight’s 7pm community meeting to refine plans for the 35th Jersey City Art & Studio Tour.

We proposed a new structure for JCAST - and the arts community has responded positively!

The new format would have only artist studios open during the afternoon, and then only galleries and group exhibitions in the evening. Both halves of the day would have website and map support.

The idea came out of a lively discussion at the last community meeting about the Jersey City Art & Studio Tour and the vision for its future. There are still a few details to discuss and refine - there will be another community meeting on Feb 19 on Zoom to do so.

We did a quick email poll to ask about reaction to the plan - the results are in the piechart: more than 92% of those who responded liked or loved the idea.
