Growing up, Maria did her sister’s (and friends) hair for all of the school dances and loved trying out different styles!💁🏻‍♀️

She’s always been interested in creative hobbies, but didn’t consider hair as a career until she had a conversation with Erin, her coworker at Caribou at the time☕️ (small world😌)

She has now been doing hair for 9 years!

She recently received training for Japanese Head Spa, after having the desire to help her clients who were dealing with different scalp ailments and conditions!🧖‍♀️

Growing up as a dancer, Kailey always had a love for the hairstyles and makeup, and also loved doing everyone else’s hair!

She knew she wanted a creative career that she would enjoy on a daily basis, so she went to school at PCI Academy in Ames and landed herself a career as a hairstylist!💁🏻‍♀️

Now, she has been doing hair for 5 years, and specializes in naturally curly hair and color!🎨

We are located just north of I-80/35 at 5460 Merle Hay Road in Johnston. In addition to working in a shop with a great team, Neon Heart is located in a rapidly growing commercial/retail area with easy access to travel anywhere in the metro. We also offer some really great and unique amenities;

- Full time guest coordinator who can assist 5 days a week in handling scheduling, guest check in, and re-booking.

- Access to house booking system with website integrations.

- Direct deposit for all service dollars.

- Fully stocked, extensive retail inventory with opportunity for commission on sales.

- Month to month chair rental agreements.
