FULL BAG PICKUPS:
Litter Free Inc. coordinates with many volunteer trucks/drivers that pick up the backs and haul them to the landfill. To help our drivers, please place filled bags on a MAIN roadway in an area that will be easy and SAFE for our drivers to pull over and pick up. Bags need to be out and ready for pickup by 2pm to ensure they are to the landfill before closure.

**If you see stray bags after the clean-up, please contact [email protected] so we can coordinate a pickup.

Calling all Energy Minded Professionals!

If you have not already heard Energy Efficiency Training (EE NOW) is back! Alaska Housing Finance Corporation is bringing back the EE NOW Training event on February 21-22, 2024 in Anchorage. The two-day training provides an opportunity to learn, network, and share information about energy efficiency in residential buildings through expert presentations, panel discussions, and stakeholder dialogue. This training opportunity will have CEU classes available through four education tracks: Real Estate Professionals, Contractors, Energy Codes and Energy Raters.

Early bird registration has been extended until February 15th. By adding the Energy Code and Rater tracks to this year’s training it has freed up additional room for more industry professionals to join.
