These photos are some of the first moments community came together to help decide on Healthier Jupiter's focus area of diabetes prevention.

We had so much fun participating in great activities in Limestone Creek like the Community Festivals and BBQs, and the Limestone Creek Striders. We have been fortunate to make so many friends, and meet so many community leaders in the Limestone Creek Community.

In 2017, Healthier Jupiter held a Home Garden Contest where community members submitted photos of their home garden for a cash prize and recognition. Gardens rated on appearance, variety and creative use of space.

Lizzie Lawson of Limestone Creek, Jupiter was the winner of the Healthier Jupiter Home Garden Contest. Ms. Lawson loves to work in her garden and shares her harvest with Family, Friends and Neighbors. Healthier Jupiter had an opportunity to visit her garden and see the bountiful plot first hand. Her green thumb shines through all that she produces.

Over 50 bike riders participated at Healthier Jupiter's first Bike Valet in 2017. Thank you to our partners: Town of Jupiter and Boy Scout Troop 774. For more information on how to run your own Bike Valet at an event visit www.healthierjupiter.org/bike-valet

Healthier Jupiter put together a team to build a float and walk during the JTAA Holiday Parade in 2018. We promoted a previous project: Walk on Jupiter, a physical activity challenge to encourage everyone in our community to walk. Last night, June 7th, Town of Jupiter passed Resolution 53-22, Vision Zero - to establish a goal to eliminate roadway and railway traffic fatalities and the reduction of serious injuries due to traffic accidents with in the Town boundaries.

As discussed at the council meeting, staff, police and council have been working on the goal of zero injuries and fatalities in the Town of Jupiter, but this makes it official.

Thank you and ! A great step toward walking and biking safety in our community.

We had a beautiful morning with staff at Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area on a nature walk through the trail just north of the lighthouse. We looked for birds, spotted some rabbits, and got a beautiful view of the lighthouse. Follow them on Facebook for future walks and events!
