Hello to all! We are very excited to have a new health professional offering services at the Red Barn! Here is what she has to share:
"Hi! I am Laura Hunter a Family Nurse Practitioner. I began my adult journey completing a Chemistry Major in college. I was particularly taken by Biochemistry and have been an avid reader for 47 years in the science of the body. Nursing school came along 32 years ago with a Masters in Nursing 27 years ago from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. I completed the Functional Medicine training from the Institute of Functional Medicine in Washington State in 2021. This training has been invaluable for adding science-based treatments for patients who are interested in improving their health with lifestyle changes. I value patient education giving each individual the tools to be their healthiest self."
