About Kaneohe Lions Club

From its beginning in 1949, the Kaneohe Lions Club has been committed to local volunteer service and helping on a broader scale when needed. Our membership is composed of men and women with aloha for our community who are pleased to follow the Lions motto, “We Serve.”

In keeping with the Lions Clubs International emphasis on vision, we sponsor Eyeglass Collection Boxes in various Kaneohe locations and visual screening and poster contests in elementary schools. We have “adopted” Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden, where we do quarterly workdays. Among other community projects, we assist with the Kaneohe Christmas Parade, the City & County’s Summer Fun Makahiki at the Kaneohe Regional Park, and periodic graffiti clean-ups. We host social events during the year for our members and guests, and we welcome potential new members who share our commitment to service and goodwill.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world. We are proud to be one of these 46,000.
