Some of you may be aware of an ongoing campaign by a disgruntled former employee to discredit our business and one of our treasured employees.

The former employee was training with a company laptop on scheduling and the day-to-day activities of her new position within the company unattended. It was later discovered that over the course of several days she had secretly created disparaging emails towards herself and sent "test copies" to personal email account for review at home.

The disgruntled former employee in their haste forgot to delete the test copies in the trash bin before finally sending a copy of this email to themselves while posing as the employee who owned the laptop. Please remember, this disgruntled employee was logged in as a current employee training on her laptop.

The power of social media is tough to overcome, good or bad. When looking at the company equipment it is easy to see how this happened and has put several good unassuming people at risk.

We apologize if anyone feels offended by this discrediting campaign towards our business, our employee our friend.

As a physical therapy professional we hope to see each and every one of you as little as possible, but we do hope to serve you as well as possible when needed.

Janet Stone and her husband, Jim (our very own Mom & Pop), opened Exercise Therapy Consultants in May of 1998, after seeing a need for personalized physical therapy in the Kansas City area.

Janet has spent most of her years as a physical therapist in the outpatient setting, with extensive training and experience in treating back and neck injuries, TMJ conditions, chronic pain, headaches and sports injuries.
In her free time, Janet enjoys Zumba, weight training, cardio, playing the piano, and crocheting. She lives in Belton with her husband and their three dogs. Janet and Jim’s son, Matthew, recently graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a dual degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering.

To this day Jim and Janet do what they can every single day to ensure ETC provides to personalized and professional care that each patient deserves!!
