BAM! the Workshop, inspired by Ida B Wells, is an immersive interdisciplinary arts community event in Kansas City, MO. BAM!’s centers urban contemporary paradigms and expressions and acts of restorative justice within context of Black lives in the Mannheim Neighborhood of Kansas City. The Inspiration Grant funding underwrites a 2016-17 dual arts residency Including: a community participant visual art installation, immersive performance with immersive cinema artist Brian Herczog, and psychologist Bill Johnson!
