This weekend, we proudly participated in 'Crush the Crisis' to support the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day!

Partnering with Kansas City Missouri Police Department, we helped collect roughly 180 pounds of unused medication -- making a big impact on community safety. Thanks to a generous donation from Heartland Regional Alcohol & Drug Assessment Center, we also distributed 78 boxes of Narcan, empowering individuals to be prepared in case of an emergency.

The Patricia Frist Memorial Scholarship is open to dependents of HCA Healthcare colleagues who are pursuing post-secondary education. Zachary Lattimer is a sophomore at Kansas City Kansas Community College, and the son of Katherine Lattimer, a medical office coordinator at College Park Family Care Center - a part of HCA Midwest Health.

Andy, an ICU patient at Menorah Medical Center - a part of HCA Midwest Health, is a big basketball fan. 🏀 His nurse, Donna, went above and beyond the call of duty by incorporating basketball in his recovery process. She brought in a mini basketball goal and basketballs to give Andy an activity to do that would also help strengthen his arms. Andy was elated and grateful for the thoughtful gift that keeps his spirits high and his love of basketball close to him, even while in the ICU.
