My sincere condolences go out to his family and children.
Chris though you are no longer with us here physically, your spirit and our mission to serve others will continue.

Another great day on the ranch, heiffers moo-ing, barn cat prowling, tree frogs singing, & good books for reading during the rain. If you need me, I'll be in the pillow pile on the porch swing.

As move in weekend comes to an end... i am grateful, and feeling like the luckiest girl alive.
The cattle are bedding down just beyond the fence; tree frogs are singing in the timber (which Daddy loved to hear); the barn cat is hunkered down in her chair (she waited 3 long years for us to return to the ranch); #1 son had nested nicely in his new rooms; & a work worn cowboy is headed to bed by my side.
I have seen Heaven, & it is here.
Do not settle for what is just ok... fight for what you love, & know that forces are aligning on your behalf.

For all those who have sent prayers, thank you. My Dad passed quietly yesterday. I was lucky to have had him to love so long. He will be dearly missed.
