As we head back to school, many parents of young children are already feeling it: building anxiety, worry about how their child will feel in a new class or new building, wondering if they’ll see big behaviors at home or school. It’s a LOT!
In the midst of all of this, parents, remember that you have a super power. You have a the ability to be your child’s safe place in all of this chaos. A tight hug to come home to, a smile and a listening ear, a place where they feel they can be completely themselves. Don’t take that super power for granted! You have ALL that you need in you already to be your child’s biggest cheerleader, their caring coach, their safe place. 🩷
