BOVERI GIVES BACK
An important part of Boveri Realty Group’s mission is giving back to the community. Each quarter we choose a different charity to support. As part of every single sales or leasing transaction our agents donate to a selected charity and we match the funds as a company. Additionally we support a family in need during the holiday season. For 2024 we want your feedback on which charities we should support. Each quarter we will post a poll on our social media and have you all vote for which charity to support.
For the third quarter of 2024, the choices are between River of Refuge, Legal Aid of Western Missouri, and NourishKC.
Please vote for us and share with all of your network and encourage them to do the same.
So grateful for these sweet, beautiful hens that have been donated to us! Grateful for the eggs and love they will provide to our families for years to come! Thank you, Tami, Joyce & Gwen!!!
We are happy to announce that our Teaching Kitchen is well underway and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We haven’t shared about our new project, but it’s coming along and should wrap up soon. If you’ve visited the River of Refuge, you know that one of our largest challenges is not having a kitchen on our administrative side of the building. We want to teach families how to cook, share community dinners, etc., but it's been a big obstacle for several years without a place to cook and do dishes.
We need an electric clothes dryer for our new 2nd-floor family laundry room. The new dryer installed two years ago is beyond warranty and beyond repair. Can anyone help?

The Raytown Mid-Continent Libary collected non-perishable food items (May 6 - May 12) for the River of Refuge food pantry. The initiative is called "Food for Fines", and Mid-Continent Public Library does it twice a year (spring and fall).
People bring in food (canned food and dry items; NO liquids, NO glass) and for every item (for Ramen noodles it has to be a 6 pack) $1.50 of fines is removed from their account. They can do that for up to $30. Some people donate food without having any fines (1 person brought in 16 cans of Campbells Chunky soup) because they want to contribute. The library keeps those items separately and uses them to remove fines for customers who need a helping hand.
This was the largest donation the library has ever had at Raytown. Usually, they have about 150 - 200 items. This time it was a total of 659 items. What an amazing community! River of Refuge is thankful to the Raytown community for its willingness to help its community and to the Raytown Mid-Continent Library for allowing River of Refuge to be the recipient of this large donation. Thank you all so very much! Mid-Continent Library
