North Metro Toastmasters #3592

What an amazing meeting today. We had one prepared speech that was also an Ice Breaker. He was also the only person to use the word of the day. The word of the day was "Tenacious".

We also had a unique spin to tabletopics (Switcharoo). Since we only had one prepared speech we were able to get in 5 participants for table topics. The winner had to answer the question on if reading books or travel were better for personal growth (may have reworded the question a little).

See you all next week. Who is going to sign up for table topics and bring in another unique spin to it? Can't wait to see whats in store for next week.

What a fun meeting tonight. We has 2 prepared speeches and a really fun table topics session. We shared so many laughs today.

Although, our word of the day was "Brevity" which means shortness of time and concise and exact words in writing or speech. We had a speech and evaluation go over time today so no winners to announce this week. We had a first time guest who participated in table topics and was voted best table topic for the evening.

I hope all attendees enjoyed the meeting. Thank you to everyone who signed up for a role. Friendly reminder: Please remember to sign up prior to the meeting. Look forward to next weeks speeches and hopefully more laughs.

We had 2 very good speeches today but one of the contestants went over time. Same with one of the evaluations.

We had 3 people come up for table topics. Best table topic question was "Would you rather be abducted by ailens or or bite your tounge every time you eat?" Being abducted by ailens won. Which would you pick?

We also had two first time guest.

We wanted to give Griffin a proper send off. It was such a blessing to have him as our Sargeant at Arms for North Metro Toastmasters #3592 for the past year. Such a great part of our leadership team and club. Wishing you great success in your future endeavors. If you are ever back in Kennesaw on a Monday...we hope you are able to stop by and visit it us.
