Look closely and you can see right into the river bank! We call this look a "double pour" because we first pour in the colored epoxy and then later do a clear layer on top.

Red Cedar + blue epoxy resin= stunning! If you love a really cool live edge with a lot going on, you would love red cedar. The slabs have so much detail and the best part- it is the least expensive wood that we carry.

Engraving is another service that we offer here at Atlanta Tables! This rustic table and bench were made from pecan wood brought to us by the customer. The pecan tree the slabs are from had survived a fire where it was eventually knocked over. He saved the pieces and finally hired the right team for the job to turn them into something beautiful.

If you're not sure about having live edge on the exterior edges of you table, you can always have the live edge towards the "river" in the center of the table. This river was done with black epoxy resin then topped with a clear coat so you can see into the banks.

What makes a cookie so rare is they are typically much thicker than other slabs. Also on a cookie, you can clearly see and even count the growth rings which is fun!

And my personal favorite is that on a cookie, you have live edge around the entire perimeter of the piece.
