Hello all, Ratio Christi at KSU (RC @ KSU) will be meeting this week on Thursday, 11/9/23, at 7:00 PM in the Academic Learning Center, Room ALC2102. We have a very special speaker and topic this week. This week’s topic will be: "The Case for Original Monotheism: Was Belief in One God the Original Belief of Humanity, or Did It Evolve from Primitive Spiritism and Polytheism?" Thus this week we will be considering evidence from anthropologists and historians. We look forward to seeing you there!

This should be a very interesting topic and discussion. I hope to see you there!

You're Invited to Ratio Christi!
Apologetics Meetings on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays!

The book of Genesis has fascinated the world for millennia. God's creation of the heavens, the earth, the animals, and mankind fills us with awe and wonder. But interpreting the finer details of the text has caused dramatic division between Christians. This should not be so. This lecture will be a proposal for how old-earth and young-earth creationists can reconcile their disagreements for the sake of church unity. We will discuss seven points of resolve: the genre of Genesis, scriptural concordism, the interpretation of the creation days, the creation of mankind, death before the Fall, gaps in the genealogies, and the Flood. All creationists of all perspectives are requested to attend, and all questions from skeptics are encouraged as always. All are welcome!

Hello all! In lieu of our regular meeting on Thursday, 4/27/23, we will wrap up the semester by joining the Young Women for America (YWA) as they share their program on “Testimonies of Abortion.” Like Ratio Christi, YWA is a registered student organization here at KSU.

YWA is a non-denominational Christian organization that examines cultural, constitutional and political issues through the lens of a Biblical World View. Ratio Christi, in contrast, examines and tests the validity of truth claims and propositions, particularly Christian truth claims, by using reason, logic and evidence. Both organizations have a strong interest in the issue of abortion.

YWA and Ratio Christi will be meeting at the Legacy Gazebo at 7:00 PM on Thursday night. Abortion is an important topic and we look forward to what we will learn. We hope to see you there, and please bring a friend!

Hello all! Please join us for Ratio Christi at KSU on Thursday night, 4/20/23, at 7:00 PM in the Academic Learning Center, Room ALC 4201. Everyone is welcome! Please come join us and bring a friend!

As the Spring semester is drawing to a close, we want to recap some of the key arguments for the existence of God and for the validity of Christianity that we have covered over this past year. This will hopefully be particularly useful to those of you who missed any of the weekly sessions where we covered each of these topic previously.

Additionally, we will hold our elections for next year’s student officers. While we already have student nominees, additional students can self-nominate themselves at the beginning of the meeting prior to the actual elections.

Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Hello all! Contemporary Critical Theory, including Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other variants based on Intersectionality, as well as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), are currently major topics on university campuses and beyond. These theories are based on a very specific worldview which is only one of multiple worldviews. Further, this worldview has very specific implications.

Please join us for Ratio Christi at KSU on Thursday night, 4/13/23, at 7:00 PM in the Academic Learning Center, Room ALC 4201. Everyone is welcome! Please come join us and bring a friend! Snacks provided. We hope to see you there!

Hello all!

Please join us for Ratio Christi at KSU on Thursday night, 3/2/23, at 7:00 PM in the Academic Learning Center, Room ALC 4201. Our special guest speaker this week will be Dr. J. Steve Miller who will be reviewing numerous types of evidences that have led people to the conclusion that God exists.

Dr. Miller is an educator (teaches in the Interdisciplinary Studies Department at Kennesaw State University), researcher, entrepreneur, and speaker, having taught audiences from Atlanta to Moscow. He studied at Dalton State College, the University of Georgia, Columbia International University (BA), Trinity Divinity School, Southwestern Seminary (MDiv) and Columbia International University Graduate School (PhD). His current research/writing obsession is "afterlife apologetics" -- deathbed experiences and near-death experiences. He's known for drawing practical wisdom from serious research and communicating it in accessible, unforgettable ways.

Everyone is welcome! Please come join us and bring a friend!
