Retain Mayor Dana Ralph
Official campaign page for Kent Mayor Dana Ralph. My great great grandparents called Kent home and 4 generations later, I still call Kent home.
I grew up here, graduated from Kent Meridian, started a small business while raising my two sons, with my husband Shawn. After serving as your City Councilmember and City Council President, in the middle of my fight with breast cancer, you elected me to be your Mayor 4 years ago, and from the moment I took my oath of office until today - I’ve never stopped fighting for you and fighting for us. Serving as your mayor these last four years has been the greatest honor of my lifetime. With the results that came in yesterday, the Kent community has clearly made their voice heard.
Having received 71% of the vote, Kent voters have given me a mandate to continue focusing on the important priorities we’ve been working on at City Hall.
I’m truly grateful for the confidence that has been placed in me, and I’m committed to validating that trust by accomplishing what I’ve set out to do—delivering results for Kent families.
The last two years have been tough for our community. Many of us have struggled and things haven’t been easy. But we’ve pulled together, and our best days are ahead of us.
As a lifelong Kent resident, I’ve watched our community grow and change, and I’m ready to continue meeting the moment to ensure we keep moving in the right direction.
I’m looking forward to continuing to serve as a mayor you and your family can be proud of. Thank you!
Dana Ralph, Mayor
