We will be OPEN until 7:00 on both Mondays and Fridays! So come see us for dinner!

We will be CLOSED on both Wednesdays and Sundays!

We will also be CLOSED the entire week of September 9 thru 14 for staff vacations.

Kent Heritage Fest weekend marks the first time Carl and I introduced GRAZERS to the Kent Community. It was 2015. With the help of new friends, Carl hung a temporary banner and some festive balloons outside of our original location on Franklin Avenue. It was an amazing day!

Every Heritage Fest since, Carl and I would reminisce about how that Independence Day celebration was the beginning of living out the dream of owning a restaurant. Every year, we’d laugh and count and say, “Can you believe it’s been 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 years already!”

This year, 2024, will be 9 years for GRAZERS. For that, I am proud.

This year, however, will also be the first Heritage Fest without Carl. For that, I am devastated.

Festivals were always some of our favorite days… especially since we moved GRAZERS to Water Street. We loved being in the middle of all the fun and setting up our food wagon or tent just outside of the restaurant. We loved meeting new friends.

Without Carl, it’s just too hard.

So, for Heritage Fest, and likely all of the festivals moving forward, GRAZERS will not be set up outside of the restaurant.

However, I welcome you to come inside where we will be open extended hours serving most of our regular menu items.

We will also have some of your favorite festival treats including Hot Pretzels (salted and cinnamon & sugar), Nachos with cheese and/or taco meat, vegan chili or the works, as well as a limited supply of our popular Butterbeer recipe.

Thank you to everyone who has expressed their condolences since Carl’s passing. Thank you to everyone who continues to support GRAZERS and our amazing, yet small, staff. And thank you for your understanding and patience as we do our best to run GRAZERS without him.

Please enjoy Heritage Fest with your family and friends! You are not just having fun; you are making memories!

With so many restaurants closed on Mondays, I just wanted to share this friendly reminder that GRAZERS is OPEN!

For now, our Monday hours are 11am til 5pm, but we’re thinking about staying open til 7pm. What do you think about that?
