Spelman Chapel will be accepting food donations (can good, dry goods, box dinners) monetary donations will also be accepted until March 26th. Sunday April 2nd we will be hosting a food basket giveaway for less fortunate families. If you have any questions please contact Spelman or myself Neil Dukes.

Even though Christmas has past please don’t stop donating to people that need some holiday cheer. Donated 3 full boxes of toys, games, and accessories to UH hospital pediatrics ward! God Bless the Children.
On Wednesday December 20th Spelman Chapel AME. will be hosting a Secrete Santa toy give away from 6-8. Everyone is invited!!Come join us to celebrate the love of Jesus with friends and family with songs and gifts. There will be small snacks and drinks served. I will be giving away 30-40 turkeys/chickens as well as other food items Sunday at Spelman Chapel Kent, Ohio. The message is that I care about my community members and that I want everyone to enjoy a family dinner for Thanksgiving. Dear Friends and Family
We have all seen the devastation that Hurricane Harvey has left in the city of Huston. I have spoke with The Mayors office of Huston and with several churches in Huston area as well as Bishop Mackenzie AME about assisting in there disaster relief efforts. In time of crisis we need to come together and help one another. So this Saturday from 11-1 at Spelman Chapel we will be accepting donation to send to the relief efforts. Items need included
Dry non perishable food items
Hygiene supplies
Blankets
Clothes (new or gently used clean)
Baby supplies
Towels
Gift cards
Toys
And towels
All cash donation will be used for shipping and additional supplies.
