We get this question alot! The white film on a terracotta pot (efflorescence) means it is pulling salts and minerals from the soil, which is great for the plant!

Many people want to accelerate or mimic this look in a new pot and there are ways to do that, ask Martha Stewart!

Others want to remove it, which you can do with vinegar we hear.

We LOVE it when pots do this! Gorgeous!
