Hey everyone!! So sorry we missed you last week but here’s some photos of our sweet girl Chalupa to make up for it! Chalupa is new to the Kent campus and is from the taco bell litter, hence the name😉Some fun facts about her include: drooling, snoring like a hog, cuddling, smiling, and so much more. She is just a bundle of joy and loves everyone!

Pup feature! Lavender was recently placed with her family and is a service dog for Maddalena. Lavender was raised by Julia Reading here at Kent since she was 10 weeks old. They are located in Florida and Lavender works as support for cerebral palsy and epilepsy detection. The family shared these photos with us to show how the girls are getting along! We are so proud of Lavender and Julia’s hard work🫶🏻

This weeks pup feature is Joanna! Jo’s favorite snack is ice and bananas on a lick mat. Her 1st birthday is Monday, July 1st so everyone wish her a day full of love🫶🏻 At the end of the month Jo will be transferring to a new handler at Ohio Northern University and get to spend some time with her brother. Let’s all show Jo some love and wish her luck on her new adventures!!❤️

This week’s pup feature is little miss Gretchen, aka Greta😉. Greta is super playful and could melt your heart with just one pet. We love miss greta🐾❤️

This week’s pup feature is Sir Maui! Maui has just recently switched handlers for the summer and is coming up on his 6mo evaluation. He’s such a cuddly and goofy boy who’s thriving at Kent! Show some love in the comments to maui❤️

These pups are tired of school and kicking off summer break strong! They’re super excited for all their upcoming summer adventures, we’ll keep ya updated😉

Say Hi to KSU alumni Surf whom is a Service Dog! 👋🏼 Surf’s mobility assistance and his boys’ motor planning are improving every day as they work at physical therapy. Surf finds his boy during every track! With him tethered to Surf he is able to walk through massive crowds. They took a trip to the renaissance fair and walked through the entire festival like it was a stroll in the park!He walked for more than 2 hours! No anxiety, no tears, no falls, no asking to go home, and no need to disconnect behind an iPad! He had so much fun and got to truly experience life in the way his family have always wanted for him! Another big win comes at doctors appointments, he has severe medical appointment anxiety because of all that he has been through over the years. With Surf’s support, he was able to complete his echocardiogram without issue or anxiety! 💙
