We'd like to introduce you to three of Acorn Health's new leaders - Jules, Brandi, and Jessica! ✨

💙 Jules Pelkey is our new BCBA in Livonia, MI. She's passionate about expanding her assessment skills and loves helping others succeed. In her free time, Jules enjoys traveling, trying new experiences, and gardening. Fun fact: Jules has won competitions in hula-hooping, mud-bogging, and yodeling!

💚 Brandi Warren is our BCBA in Wi******er, VA. With a strong background in ABA, Brandi is dedicated to making a positive impact. She enjoys family time with her daughter and dogs. Fun fact: Brandi originally wanted to work in the prison system but found her true calling in ABA.

💙 Jessica Porter is our BCBA in Nashville, TN. As a Program Manager, Jessica is eager to make a positive impact on families. She enjoys baking, playing the violin, and practicing martial arts. Fun fact: Jessica loves fly fishing and attending antique automobile rallies in her free time.

We’re thrilled to have these amazing leaders on our team and can't wait to see the incredible things they’ll accomplish in service to our clients!

We are excited to highlight our quarterly Grand Rounds, a continuing education opportunity at Acorn Health. These sessions, led in collaboration with our Clinical Advisory Board Chairman Dr. Greg Hanley of FTF Behavioral Consulting, focus on the implementation of trauma-informed ABA therapy through Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) and Practical Functional Assessment (PFA). This ongoing clinical training underscores Acorn Health's commitment to advancing the field by staying at the forefront of industry best practices.

A special shoutout to Jamie Davis, M.S., BCBA, LBA, our Clinical Director in Franklin, for her powerful and inspiring presentation during the most recent Grand Rounds. Jamie shared a touching success story where skill-based treatment, combined with consistent family support, empowered a young client to overcome the challenges of a traumatic experience. The outcome? A significant boost in communication and participation in community activities, from soccer practice to magical trips to Disney World!

We're proud to share that two of our dedicated leaders from Acorn Health, Payor Relations Manager April Bailey and Interim Vice President of Operations Aileen Maderal, recently traveled to the Florida State Capitol. We're excited to share that Acorn Health's Grandville center officially reopened this week at its original location at 42 44th Street SW, Grandville, MI, 49418, after undergoing extensive renovations!

The center had temporarily relocated earlier this year in response to flooding from a burst water pipe. A huge thank you to our dedicated team and the Grand Rapids community during this transition.
