Matteo Miller, an 11-year-old resident of Key Biscayne, Florida, will work towards his goal of become the world's youngest Master Scuba Diver.

There are limited spaces available to support and partake in this remarkable accomplishment.

Interested participants must have PADI Open Water certification.

"There’s no stopping this kid. He knows what he wants, and we want to support his passion," Matteo's father, Paul Miller, said."

Matteo is eager for his August 8 birthday to dive into becoming the youngest PADI Master Scuba Diver in the world. "I am focused. I am determined to accomplish what no one else has been able to do," Matteo said. "There is so much to see, so much to learn, to absorb. It's a lot, but I wouldn't have it any other way."

Matteo began in 2021 and throughout his school breaks, Matteo has continued his training, achieving PADI specialty certifications in Junior Adventure Diver, Underwater Photographer, Boat Diver, Fish Identification, Underwater Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy.

Hosted by Diver's Paradise at 4000 Crandon Boulevard in Key Biscayne, Matteo's August 8 record setting accomplishment will begin at noon with a diver check-in and a 1:00 p.m. dive charter departure. Interested participants must have PADI Open Water
certification.
