Today marked a significant and uplifting event as members of Omicron Pi, alongside their counterparts from the D9 (Killeen NPHC )and various other community organizations, came together to participate in a vibrant Backpack Rally organized by the NAACP Killeen Branch #6189, to equip local children with the necessary tools for success as they prepare to embark on a new school year.
At the rally, families were greeted with excitement as they received free backpacks filled with essential school supplies.

The event also featured voter registration booths, strategically set up to encourage community members to engage in the democratic process. Volunteers were on hand to provide information and assistance, emphasizing the importance of participating in the upcoming elections.
Together we achieve, together we influence, together we plant the seed of hope.

This day, 50 years ago, on July 18, 1974, the Omicron Pi chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated was chartered in the greater Killeen/Fort Hood area.

Over the span of these past five decades, the Omicron Pi chapter has become an integral part of the fabric of the Killeen/Fort Hood area. Its members have selflessly dedicated their time, energy, and resources to uplift and improve the lives of those around them. Through active engagement within the community, the chapter has been able to identify and address pressing issues, extending a helping hand to those in need as well building that strong and sturdy bridge for the leaders of tomorrow.
