The Falcon Family understands the sacrifice our service men and women who have given to our country and our way of honoring them.

No one does more for less.

A while back we were asked how come we have a different name on our funeral coaches than ‘Affordable’.

The answer is simple. We want your family to know we are a family caring for your family. The Falcon Family has for over three generations owned and operated businesses in Austin and Central Texas. Just because you called a place named ‘Affordable’ we do not want your family to feel that because you want a lower price that somehow less service comes with that. We also want families to know it’s the Falcon Family that is there at any hour to help. That’s why it’s important we have those nameplates in our funeral coaches.

FAMILY Matters! The Falcon Family is here to help create a dignified service at a much more reasonable cost. Affordable doesn’t mean cheap, it means a family cares to not spend needless money to say goodbye.

Most funeral homes do not use a funeral coach for airport transfers. None make sure a Veteran is properly honored as they are transferred to and from the airport. Little things that’s separate our family service from the others for a lot less.

Who has the right to make your funeral or cremation arrangements?

Texas Law spells out who has that paramount right to make those decisions. Notice the words "Power of Attorney" or "Medical Power of Attorney" or "Common Law" Spouse DO NOT APPEAR in the Law.

Sec. 711.002. DISPOSITION OF REMAINS; DUTY TO INTER. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (l), unless a decedent has left directions in writing for the disposition of the decedent's remains as provided in Subsection (g), the following persons, in the priority listed, have the right to control the disposition, including cremation, of the decedent's remains, shall inter the remains, and in accordance with Subsection (a-1) are liable for the reasonable cost of interment:

(1) the person designated in a written instrument signed by the decedent;

(2) the decedent's surviving spouse;

(3) any one of the decedent's surviving adult children;

(4) either one of the decedent's surviving parents;

(5) any one of the decedent's surviving adult siblings;

(6) any one or more of the duly qualified executors or administrators of the decedent's estate; or

(7) any adult person in the next degree of kinship in the order named by law to inherit the estate of the decedent.

This afternoon we lost an immediate family member.

At this time we will temporarily suspend service as we gather ourselves. We thank you for your prayers.

We are experiencing temporary suspensions of service due to high demand and refrigeration being at full capacity. We apologize if we are not able to provide direct cremation service at your family's time of need. These temporary service interruptions will continue as capacity is full and we can safely provide refrigeration care for new cases.

We will give priority to families who have verified PRE-PAID arrangements. We are still available to provide Funeral Services and National/ International Shipping Services where the body must be embalmed.

We encourage families to wear your Mask and Stay Safe. Out of respect for the many families who have lost a loved one from COVID-19 all of our locations will still require guest to wear a mask while in our facilities.

Our care team is still performing removal of deceased on limited basis as the roads become more passable. Please use extreme caution. Stay warm and safe
