This Thursday, The Arts Society of Kingston (97 Broadway, Kingston) welcomes Joanna Rush to the stage for her one-of-a-kind stand-up comedy show “No Malarkey!” Her show tackles concepts of ageism and sexism surrounding politics and the performing arts, comparing herself to President Joe Biden. NEW! Monthly shows at ASK: Hear the local music scene take shape at The Great Room (97 Broadway, upstairs at The Arts Society of Kingston). Inspired by the NYC loft scene, the Downtown Sessions draw together songwriters, performers & instrumentalists with a diversity of musical influences.

An Open Mic meets Jam Session, local songwriters are invited to perform originals or covers while joined by a live band. The series builds on the international performance experience of its hosts:

Sam Bernhardt - Guitar
Mark Roman - Bass / Vocals
Thomas Wandell - Drums
Max Liebman - Sound
