Welcome to Salt House
Salt House is a community that was birthed out of incredible generosity (read more about that at http://www.salthousechurch.org/our-story and a desire to become a place people on their journeys could call home in the midst of transition and change. We are a community where people can explore 21st century faith alongside others. This is a place to raise ideas, post questions, and share possibilities. Check out this new, inclusive, progressive faith community for all people on the Eastside.
We are fiercely committed to being a welcoming and affirming congregation. We believe in the radical inclusion of all people because of how Jesus lived. We say this as much to a first time visitor as we do to our ourselves every time we gather.
No matter...
...how we feel or what we believe
...the color of our skin or physical ability
...our gender identity or sexual orientation
...what we've done or what we haven't done
...whether we have questions or think we have all the answers
...we are all welcome...no matter what.
We believe that there is room at the table for everyone. Period. We believe Jesus welcomes all people and so we do too. Our aim is to be zero-barrier community that allows all people to live into the calling God has placed on their lives.
