Exciting Transition Ahead!
I am thrilled to announce that Pie Bar Ballard is evolving! 👩‍🍳
We are shutting down our full restaurant service and transitioning into a commissary bakery to support and elevate talented women bakers in our community, providing them with the skills and platform to flourish as independent business owners.
Pie Bar has always been more than just a business for me; it's a dream I nurtured from the ground up as a single, stay home mom. My passion for creating delicious pies and craft cocktails has always been about bringing joy to our community through these beloved delights. Over the years, I've cherished every moment and every customer I've had the pleasure of serving.
As we transition into this new chapter, I want to emphasize that our Pie Bar location in Phinney Ridge is Open!!!! Additionally, we're thrilled to announce that Pie Bar Phinney will be open late night, just like our original Capitol Hill location, offering pies and craft cocktails for those late-night cravings!
**Calling all female bakers!** If you are passionate about baking and eager to advance your skills and career, I would love to interview you as part of our initiative. Join us in unveiling this statement and stepping into a future filled with delicious possibilities.
I will also continue to operate three food trucks that venture all over Seattle and Washington State, including serving at Seattle Seahawks and Sounders games, as well as Microsoft and military bases. Your favorite pies might be closer than you think!
I understand that change can be bittersweet, but I genuinely believe this new direction will bring wonderful benefits to our community. The transition period will be smooth, and I am excited to soon introduce a variety of artisanal baked goods that you can enjoy at home or on the go.

We will be attending Seafair Fleet Week from August 3-6th right on Pier 46! August 3rd, 4th, and 6th: Tours 9:30 am – 3 pm
August 5th: Tours 9:30 am – Noon

We will also be at Cave B at the Gorge for WATERSHED!! Slanging sweet and savory pies from Friday August 4th to Sunday August 6th!

We will be gearing up the season with Delfino's Chicago Style Pizza tomorrow June 8th at Bellevue Beats & Bites starting from 4:30-6:30pm. It is completely free to get in and enjoy the outdoor concerts this summer! There will also be a beer garden to enjoy a nice sip as the sun wanders off into the distance.

The tasting event will showcase more than 130 NW ciders, in addition to wine, mead, beer and other regionally crafted libations. Born out of a commitment to community and the environment, and the love for local flavor, Cider Swig connects festival goers directly with the makers. And, the Swig's Pop-up Bottle Shop is back, so you can take your favorites home to enjoy.
