In July of 2006 Sgt.
Leonid Milkin was serving his country overseas when his beloved family was brutally murdered in their home that was then set on fire and destroyed.This page is devoted to the community effort to rebuild the home in their memory.

For 11 years now I have posted this picture as a remembrance of this incredible community coming together over Memorial Day weekend to complete the Milkin home rebuild. A labor of love for nearly 2 years, we are forever grateful to each and every person who took part and made a difference.
In light of the current events in the world, this picture is even more meaningful to me. If you want a renewal of faith in humanity, look no further than this photo. Complete strangers came together to do good, for someone in need, who they didn't know. I am proud to say that all these years later, we're all still friends. Forever bonded in friendship and love.
