We’ve been without a couch for over 5 months since we moved back in… So we are so excited with our new couch!!! Before our remodel we gave our old couch away to some college kids. We bought it early in our marriage for our previous house. When we took it out to give to the college kids…practically a cereal box of old cheerios poured out of the bottom it 😂 .

Finally got the home gym back together and got up this morning to do a workout , turned on the tv and found this surprise. :(

“Kids do you see the mountain? Do you see it?! Isn’t it beautiful?” — said by everyday it’s a clear day in Seattle :) so I had to take a pic from the plane

She did it! So proud of Joie and all her hard work to get here. She worked her tail off! And I still don’t believe her that this will be the last. ;)

A couple days ago without warning, Cordelia came into our room after she’d gone to bed and was crying…she said she missed Lincoln and was sad she couldn’t see him. But Cordelia and Dominic never met him, they were born a couple years after his passing. We try to keep him very much a part of our family and to keep him very much their older brother. I can’t believe it’s been 12 years… it feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago at the same time.

House update! Closets are in! We’re missing one mirror door on Jezelle’s and the handles are still not installed. But we are one step closer! Sorry for the dark pictures, lights are still not in and it was afternoon so it was dark in the house.

The fake German Christmas market in Seattle… it was pretty pathetic .. I think my German colleagues would have been offended. lol

More walls removed and changes than we had originally planned. But needed for structural issues. But glad to finally have some progress again!

Sheds moved and fence taken down. Now to pack up the rest of the house before the remodel — thanks Steve cook and Carter green for the help lifting the shed!

They did it! Congrats Sandra and Dave! We were so honored to be a part of this special day! So fun!
