It’s looking like an excellent weekend coming up and we’ve got the best menu for it! Some crowd favorites are back with the Zeus Burger and Shawarma chicken tacos plus 2 brand new vegetarian options with the halloumi hummucide and a zesty Greek pasta salad! We’ve got the perfect menu for the occasion featuring the return of our beloved Bear of Chicagoland Hot Italian Beef sandwich, Honey I’m Rome burger, and lentil confusion tacos. We’ve got a brand new taco for this weekend’s menu! A lot of authentic Peruvian cuisine revolves around the Aji Amarillo pepper, so we planted one in our garden earlier this year and it’s finally starting to produce this month! This week we used our aji peppers in the marinade and the verde sauce for this absolutely delicious chicken taco. So if you’re in the mood for some genuine Peruvian food, make your way down to Trailhead this weekend!

The week we’ve all been waiting for this summer is finally here! It’s SALMON WEEK at Trailhead! For those who are unfamiliar, we travel to Alaska each year and catch as many sockeye salmon as possible to bring back for salmon burgers! This year we caught almost 50; way more than the year before, so we should have plenty to go around!

This is truly a one of a kind experience you can’t find anywhere else in Knoxville, so make sure you get one before we change the menu next week. They sell fast, so the earlier you arrive the better your chances will be!

As usual, Thursday is our night off so if you can’t make it out tonight you’ll have to wait for the weekend!

It’s time for a new menu, and we’ve got of another brand new burger to complement our famous jerk chicken and bandit tacos! Come by Trailhead and try out our new “Pitted to the Core” burger made with a charred peach and apple salsa, sliced Gouda cheese, bacon, and sriracha aioli! The perfect burger to go along with the summer heat!

We’ve got the perfect menu for some (hopefully) rain free evenings coming this weekend! Since several of the specials coincide with characters of the Bluey TV show, we decided to make a Bluey themed menu! Swing by trailhead for a brand new smashburger with crumbled blue cheese and bacon, a blueberry-chili coulis, and fresh tomatoes from our garden. We’ve also got our famous BBQ sandwiches and vegetarian bandit tacos!

Even more good news: if you can’t make it down this week, don’t worry! We’ll have this menu on for a few extra days since some of us are traveling. We’ll be keeping our regular hours at Trailhead still!

It’s almost time for the Annual Trailhead Luau! We’re excited to partner with Tennessee Brew Works for a fun filled evening Sunday July 14 from 5-7:30! As per tradition, we’ll be slow smoking a whole hog overnight and serving it up with some amazing Hawaiian themed side dishes. Go ahead and grab your tickets now before they’re gone! Great news: Our garden right here in South Knox has started to crank out produce for our menu! Our goal is to have sides throughout the summer made with stuff exclusively from our garden including salsas and peppers, pickles, etc. The first featured side up is blistered shish*to peppers with a Korean ginger glaze and yuzu lime crema. It is important to note that we will NOT be supplementing produce from grocery stores, so when these sides sell out, they’ll be gone until the garden can make more!

Jerk chicken is back on the menu! These are easily the most popular chicken tacos we do, so hurry down to trailhead before they’re gone. Not feelin like tacos? We’ve got our Guava Nice Day burger with a guava jalapeño jam, bacon, and housemade tortilla straws instead! If you’re in town for Memorial Day weekend, this is the definitely the place to be!

We’ve had requests far and wide to create a blue cheese smashburger, and we’ve finally done it! Introducing the black and bleu burger with brandied blackberry and jalapeño jam plus crumbled bacon and blue cheese! Grab it with some of our famous banana pudding or Parmesan garlic fries. Don’t forget tomorrow is our second brunch of the year! Since it’ll be Cinco de Mayo, we’re gonna try a few Mexican inspired brunch specials! Official brunch time will be 11am-1pm but we’re hoping to be open a little earlier to avoid getting backed up.
