When you look at this rose, what do you see? What do you think of? 🌹

I see how beautiful, elegant, and intricate it is. It is a glimpse of one of the million things that God has beautifully created. So as this fragrant flower blooms, its buds gradually open to reveal blossoms with many lovely layers which to me, illustrates how spiritual wisdom unfolds in our lives. But as it grows you have to tend to it, water it, and care for it. The fragrance brings a sweet aroma to your senses. It reminds me of 2 Corinthians 2:15. We are the sweet fragrance of Christ!

So if God can put that much detail into a flower, how much more do you think he has put much detail in you and how much he cares for you?

“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.”

We can become so caught up in the cares of daily life that we don’t make time for God and His kingdom to be first place.
As a result, the Word gets choked out by cares and distractions—what Jesus called “thorns” in Mark 4:18-19.
If watching the news puts care, fear and worry into you, don’t watch. Nowadays you can watch bad news 24 hours a day, but that doesn’t mean you should! Spend that time in the “good news”—that’s what the word gospel means. And most importantly, we need to take care of our TEMPLE! We need to make sure we are taking care of it spiritually by feeding God’s word and meditating on it.

You replace worry with believing what God’s Word says. You can refuse worrying as you replace it with believing what the Word says. You see, meditation on the Word is more than just reading. It’s applying what it says to your life and changing your situation. To change your way of thinking!
You have to receive before you become it!

Use His words to change the circumstances, don’t let the circumstances change the word.
Don’t let the enemy steal from you what God has given you! Don’t believe the lies of the enemy because you will then start forming it as your reality when it’s not.

As we come to the end of today and tomorrow is a new day, I encourage you to renew your mind with His word! His mercies are new every morning!
Make a step forward in faith (believing in the unseen) tomorrow!

If you are afraid, concerned or worried about anything, know that it’s not too small or too big for God. He wants the absolutely best for you! He cares for you more than you care for yourself!

Happy Monday y’all!

In Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-31‬ ‭it talks about how God gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. His understanding is unsearchable meaning it’s unfathomable.
‭‭
When you are tired and the trials of this life is overwhelming you, the only source you need is the Lord! If you are struggling today, I encourage you to speak this confession over yourself today and see how God can move on your behalf!

God you said in Isaiah 40:29, 31, "God gives power to me when I am faint and weary. In my weakness, He increases strength in me. I wait for Him [expect, look for and hope in Him] and He renews my strength and power. I will lift up with wings of strength and rise as an eagle. I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint or become tired."

I thank You right now for increased strength. My hope is in You and You continually renew my strength and power. I will run my course and not grow weary in well doing, and I will walk and not become faint or tired. I have all the strength I need to accomplish all that God has called me to do in the name of Jesus!

How many of y’all have been able to enjoy the sunshine here lately but are affected by the pollen right now?! Are you struggling to find other ways to boost your immune system and help fight off inflammation?

I know personally, I have been experiencing it and wanted to share a helpful way to combat the sinus/allergy problems. Did you know CARROTS are a great source for improving immunity in the body and to fight free radical damage that can cause various forms of chronic disease such as cancer and heart disease?

Carrot juice has more of a concentrated source of vitamin A, C, D, K, B6 and potassium. You can get great benefits from eating raw, cooked or juiced carrots. However, if you have a juicer, why not take advantage of it!

Get 3-4 large carrots! IF they are organic you can leave the skin on because there is a lot of great minerals in the skin. Wash them, cut the ends off them and then stick them in your juicer. This should make about a cup of carrot juice! You don’t have to add anything in it to get the full benefits of this awesome juice!

Happy Thursday Y’all!!
How is everyone doing?! How can I help you or pray for you today? I would love to see some thoughts below during these trying times. As well all need to stick together and help your neighbor and your loved ones get through this!

A lot of us are going stir crazy with limited social interactions and absence from our daily routines we have all come to appreciate. I can truly relate with you all to a high degree. During this trying time we are living in right now, I want to share a scripture with you and bring you some hope. We will come out of this stronger than ever before but we have to keep our faith and put our hope in Jesus!! Constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most Holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit. Fasten your hearts to the love of God!!

2 Corinthians 4:8-18 AMP
“We are pressured in every way [hedged in], but not crushed; perplexed [unsure of finding a way out], but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted [to stand alone]; struck down, but never destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown in our body. For we who live are constantly [experiencing the threat of] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced in our mortal body [which is subject to death]. Hey y’all!

Are you feeling the tension in your body from having to sit constantly?

Sitting for a long period of time impacts us physically. A lot of us are constantly sitting especially with the circumstances we are in right now so when your glutes can't do their job, other muscles in your body have to work harder, which ultimately can overwork them, leading to poor body alignment and aches.

These exercises in this video are designed to strengthen the core, work the posterior muscles of the body, engage and strengthen the legs, and help with proper pelvic and spinal alignment. Together, these moves help to offset the imbalances associated with long periods of sitting.

Good Evening Y’all!
I understand many of you are concerned about COVID-19 and its potential health risks. I want to start encouraging healthy immune habits (especially if you don’t already have them in motion right now). Make sure you are taking your multivitamins, vitamin C, as well as vitamin D (D3 drops are great), Elderberry, whole food nutrition (nothing processed), drink water to keep your body hydrated, cut out heavy alcohol use, sugar and of course get regular exercise and sun!

One of my favorite things to try and help build up my immune system, is Goji berry powder, which I put in my protein shakes!

Goji berry is a super food full of rich vitamin C and antioxidants! It has 18 different amino acids, plus over 20 other trace minerals including zinc, iron, phosphorus, and riboflavin (B2), omega 3 and 6 as well as fiber! It helps defend against infectious diseases, colds and or fever. Helps regulate cholesterol levels and keep triglycerides at an ideal balance, protect skin and eye health.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to all of you lovely people! ❤️

Considering what today is… whether you are single, dating, engaged, or happily married, I want you to challenge you to love yourself! Love yourself in a way that honors how God loves you! I want you to think about 3 positive words that would best describe you. I’d love for you to share them below! This isn’t about bragging about yourself, but it is more about claiming and declaring the unique gifts God has given you! There is so much power in our words, so choice wisely with what you say about yourself. Life and death is in the power on the tongue. Words kill and words give life. So they are either poison or fruit and you get to choose!

Root your identity in Jesus Christ and not base it what others think or say about you!

God loves us so much that He gave his Son, his ONE and ONLY Son, so that whoever believes and TRUSTS in, clings to, relies on Him shall not perish but have eternal everlasting life with Him! That is TRUE LOVE, my friends! We are not perfect but isn’t it time that we start speaking to ourselves in a way that reflects the way God loves us?!

It's easy to believe that your image in the mirror is your only outcome. And that the number you see on the scale is the only thing that evaluates your self-worth, but the truth is it's only your current condition and is not permanent. Do you have teeth fillings/crown molding? **READ BELOW!**

Did you know, if you have ever gotten your teeth filled or recieved a crown molding from a Dentist, that you probably had your mouth filled with amalgam which is one of the most commonly used teeth fillings for tooth decay and cavities. Amalgam is composed of liquid mercury and powdered alloy metals (such as silver, tin and copper). The filling appears as the color silver which gives it the nickname of "silver fillings”.

According to the Mayo Clinic Medical Laboratories, mercury is released from amalgam fillings daily due to the simple act of chewing! Additionally, even enjoying chewing gum causes the release of amalgam fillings at a much higher than normal rate, which can cause a litany of problems for the human body the more the heavy metals get into your blood. Our mouth’s flora converts some of this mercury to oxidized mercury and methylmercury, which is then incorporated and absorbed into the body’s tissues.
Numerous studies show that high exposure to mercury poisons the central nervous system, which can result in irritability, fatigue, changes in behavior, tremors, headaches, hearing and cognitive loss, hallucinations and more. Mercury exposure can also negatively affect the cardiovascular system, causing high blood pressure in humans and animals. A new breakthrough study now IDs exactly how fillings increase blood mercury levels.

HAPPY FRIDAY Y'ALL!

I want to encourage you, if you haven't made any goals for 2020 yet, do it! Quit procrastinating! There is nothing powerful than writing out some goals for this year so you have something to look back on to see what you have accomplished. It will shape your dreams, direction and give you purpose to achieve what you desire in life!

BELIEVE in yourself, FOCUS on what matters, and LIVE as the WARRIOR you are called to be!

Proverbs 21:5 "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance and advantage, But everyone who acts in haste comes surely to poverty."

Who are the diligent? They are anyone who is diligent in planning, establishing, and setting goals ad then setting themselves toward accomplishing those goals. Everyone should have some goal(s) in life because without any goals, we can just wander aimlessly in life with NO REAL purpose! So Solomon reminds us all that planning leads to abundance but hasty decisions or decisions without adequate planning will lead to poverty.

So over this weekend, I want to challenge you to write down some goals! No matter what it is, WRITE it down. Is not too late! If any of them relate to your health and your lifestyle, drop some comments below!

If you like bananas and are wanting something sweet but don't want to indulge with unhealthy desserts... Check out this simple 4 ingredient recipe.

4 Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies:
(Gluten FREE, vegan, and makes a perfect snack for any time of the day!)

Ingredients:
Yields 15 servings
• 2 ripe bananas
• 1 ½ cup of Quick Oats
• ¼ cup mini semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
• ¼ cup Almond flour

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with a parchment paper or coconut oil.
3. Use the back of a fork, mash the bananas in a medium bowl until they are broken down. Add in oats and gently sit until all of the oats and bananas are mixed together and look like a thick cookie batter. Then add in the almond flour.
4. Now you are ready for the chocolate chips! Sprinkle them into the dough and stir until they are mixed throughout.
5. Scoop one heaping tablespoon of the dough into your hands and freeform into a cookie. Place on cookie sheet and continue until you have 12 cookies.
6. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until set through and lightly golden. Cool and then Enjoy!

I hope your new year is off to a great start!

If you’re still looking for the best way to be eating healthy, and living healthy in 2020 beyond, you have come to the right place!
Intermittent fasting is the easiest way to get your diet under control. You will FOCUS on WHEN to eat rather than WHAT to eat. It is a great tool to get yourself into shape, both physically and mentally. However, a lot of people make some big mistakes during fasting that ruins their progress and they don’t even realize it.

The benefits of fasting only come when you are in a fasted state. You want to keep your insulin levels low. Fasting lowers your insulin levels and when insulin levels are low your body begins to burn fat! So consuming anything during your fasting period that has a caloric value will kick you out of a fasted state because it will spike your insulin. High insulin causes your body to store fat, not burn it.

For example, did you know that the creamer you put in your coffee gets you out of the fasting state? Creamer contains calories which means that is not suitable for fasting.

That is just one of the many mistakes people make when they want to get into the intermittent fasting. So if intermittent fasting is something you want to learn more about and start, drop your comments below or DM for more information.

Happy Friday Y’all!!
When you think about fitness and health what first comes to your mind?

It's very easy to get caught up into what we think we should look like, and how we become that person, that it becomes an unrealistic goal that we set for ourselves.

Our self-motivator should always first be, let's become a little better than who I started out as today. We are always our own competition! But, we can also be our own worst critics, and we can also be very harsh on ourselves very often.

So with that new mindset, take a day at a time and have some actionable short term goals for yourself, enabling you to achieve realistic goals, because you do have to start with a foundational level and build from that point.

Your body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit! The way you think and what you think becomes your reality. What you put in your body determines how your body will function. When we do not give our body the correct nutrition it needs, we are feeding our body unnecessary wants rather than what it needs! Fuel your body with the right nutrition and take care of your body because you only have one! You can not replace your vessel, so treat it with respect and honor, as its what God has given you!

Are you craving something sweet to eat but know you need to eat healthy? Check out this recipe below.

NO BAKE Energy Bites!
Super healthy! AND Delicious!

1 Cup (dry) Oatmeal
2/3 Cup Coconut Flakes
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter OR Almond Butter
1/2 Cup Ground Flaxseed
1/2 Cup (Dark) Chocolate chips
1/3 Cup Honey
1 Tbsp. Chia Seeds
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

Mix ALL of the ingredients together and let it set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Roll into small balls about 1 inch in size. Then store in air tight container in the fridge.
You now have yourself some healthy protein bites!
