Juneteenth, a day honoring the freedom of all enslaved people, commemorates the day when word finally reached Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Our office will be closed today to recognize the importance of the holiday -- so, let’s celebrate equality, listen and learn, and connect with others to drive change today and every day.
