Endless Summer? Maybe. Almost three weeks after a strong IAN's northeaster, Kure Beach's surf and shore is back to normal. Clear blue waters are seen from the breakers to past the end of the pier.

North Easter Blowing Strong. Easy to walk on beach but, this sand will blast your face. Looking at current local weather radar, this weather system "appears" to be north and independent of Hurricane IAN.
