Meet Meaghan! She will be fully licensed as a LPC in June!! 👏🏻 And is now accepting clients at The Well! 🛋️ We are looking forward to growing with Meaghan and being able to serve a wider range of clients. With extensive training in perinatal mental health, she has made it her life’s journey to support and advocate for women who have been uniquely impacted by infertility, loss, postpartum mood disorders, and parenting. Outside of specializing in perinatal mental health, Meaghan helps teens and adults in overcoming anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, negative core beliefs, poor boundaries, trauma, and grief. Meaghan can gently guide you in exploring what your life’s narrative is and help you to create a story that encourages you to experience inner peace, freedom, and joy. 💫

She has a passion for helping individuals discover who they are and who they want to be in this world. While she understands that opening up to someone new may be quite intimidating, her hope is to provide an atmosphere of openness, trust, and support. She has experience in a vast range of areas including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship struggles, boundaries, and impulsivity. She provides individual counseling for children (7+), adolescents, and adults as well as providing family counseling.

Kayla enjoys incorporating creative approaches including art, music, and nature when it's challenging to find the words to explain one’s experiences. She is passionate about connecting with people, hearing their unique stories, and witnessing the growth that develops. Her hope is that each client can become empowered in their personal strengths as they begin to show the beauty of their most authentic self in this challenging world.

In her spare time, Kayla is a PhD student striving to advance her knowledge in the field. She loves playing volleyball, going on outdoor adventures, and training up her 4-month-old goldendoodle so that he (one day) can join in on sessions.

Kayla cultivates a space for each client to come exactly as they are. She is down to earth, easy to talk to and makes clients forget they are just meeting for the first time. 🛋️

When I saw this moment on our trip to Tennessee, of course, I melted. My boys are loved so well by their daddy. And it’s his love, attention and validation that will form them as men.
According to John Eldridge, (who is one of my absolute favorite literary mentors), masculinity is bestowed.
