💥 .lafayette is a new boutique fitness studio that offers a variety of group fitness classes as well as personal training. Not only is it a great place to workout, it’s also a great place to work! We offer competitive pay and complimentary membership privileges.

💥 We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, motivated, experienced individuals who enjoy inspiring others and helping our members achieve their fitness goals. You must have experience in teaching one or more group fitness classes. Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, Stretch. These are part-time positions. All instructors are given a complimentary membership.

💥 We are hiring enthusiastic, professional Pilates teachers with a current comprehensive Reformer and/or Floor Pilates certification. Experience teaching private Reformer sessions and/or group Floor workouts. Part-time hours and blocks of hours are available. The Movement Lafayette Pilates offers Floor-based workouts, and opportunities to teach private and semi-private Reformer sessions.

10/6, My Farewell

After almost 3 years of being a part of CB, Last Friday, 9/29, was my last day to walk through the door. I had the honor of sending off w/ 50 yrs of hip hop “Aaaa Aaaaa!” 🤣🤣 Then I got to celebrate 950th ride with 70s-80s Rock, it was epic!

Today would’ve been my farewell ride. I had planned out the best playlist ever & was so ready to jam out with you all one last time. I’m sad I didn’t get to ride with you & say “see you later,” hug your necks, tell you “I’ll miss you!” But please know that each of you who blessed me by riding in my classes & gave me so much support, encouragement & love…I will truly miss riding with you, hearing about your lives, learning about your families, celebrating your accomplishments and…well everything!

I started my CB journey mid-vid times as a member, a fellow rider, an obnoxious wolf pack rider…IYKYK 😆🤣 My rhythm riding, head banging self was in heaven. For once I felt like I truly belonged & was welcomed. The CBX staff always had my back, the instructors always kicked my butt and even though she has 💯 of em, I was .la “Sh*t-head.”

I was encouraged by 3 women in particular to take the leap into joining the CB Instructor Bootcamp. I looked up to the instructors with awe, I still do. How do they talk, control the lights and music AND cycle?!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️ How in the world could I measure up to their amazing abilities? But somehow, I made it through! I became a “CycleStar.” Thank you for believing in me and pushing me to be better , & ! I’m so glad I did it!

Then after almost a year and a half of pouring my heart and soul into my rides, I heard Him loud and clear…it was time to move on. It was a bittersweet decision that was not made lightly.

There are just too many names to list, and I’m afraid I would forget 1-2, so with that being said, just know that I truly loved my time with you!

I would love to stay in touch! Coffee, lunch, happy hour drinks, whatever, I’m down for it! You can always find me at my Pinhook Rd. office teaching private Pilates sessions but 🎶“Hold Up, Wait…” stay tuned for “The Next Episode.”

It is Preston Joseph Monroe’s 11th birthday!!!

If you’ve ever met my lil nugget, then you know he is the sweetest, most caring, goofy, independent, best hug giving, entrepreneurial, family oriented and God loving boy in all of Lafayette!

This is a day that is forever engrained in my memory....

I was a 19 year old student at Texas A&M University living in the Davis Gary dorm on the 3rd floor. I was woken up by my roommate yelling and screaming at the TV. We sat for hours watching as the first tower burned, the second tower was hit by a plane while we were watching the news, then as both buildings collapsed and came down. It was a moment of shear terror, uncertainty and oddly...patriotism. The faces of the people, the horror of 2 skyscrapers that took years to build coming down within minutes, the panic of all Americans. One of the scariest and saddest days of American history...I will never forget!

I will be teaching a 9/11 Memorial cycle class tonight at 6:30 pm at . Come ride with me to honor the fallen!

Community is something we value here at CycleBar Lafayette. This month, we are giving back to our community by honoring Emmy, who has stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer. We are hosting a CycleGives ride on Sunday, August 20th at 11:00 AM. All proceeds made from this ride will go directly to Emmy and her family.
