What happens after a Dry Needle treatment? 🧐
A patient may experience different sensations when being needled such as muscle soreness, aching and or a muscle twitch. This is considered to be a good sign. It’s important that once the targeted area was needled, that a few exercises are performed, this is to help retrain your muscle to fire on correctly!
*Dry Needle Therapy is not a quick fix, it takes time and a few sessions to begin to notice the effectiveness. Also consult your PT if you have questions or curious if Dry Needly Therapy is for you

Most sutures 🪡 or stitches will be removed in your surgeon's office at a post-op visit. However, with the use of early motion protocols, your Physical Therapist may be instructed to remove your sutures (or a portion of them) while at your next PT session! (Which is one of Cathy’s favorite things to do within wound care). Suture removal, watching for infection, dressing change, and promote wound healing are all apart wound care procedures. 🩹

Recognize, Report, and Recover. Physical therapists are movement experts and can assess symptoms to determine if a 🧠 concussion is present, and to some extent treat your injury by guiding you through a safe and personalized recovery program.
