The 7 types of rest that every person needs Are you getting your seven or eight hours of sleep a night — yet you still feel exhausted? Here’s why that could be happening, according to physician Saundra Dalton-Smith.
Continuing our focus on the foot this week - these 2 strengthening exercises are a great way to focus on the strength of your big toe.
Why strengthen your big toe? Running, jumping, walking - all of these movements require push off from your toe. The stronger and more controlled position, the stronger athlete you'll be.

Your feet are the foundation of your body. They touch the ground first and if they aren't stable - your body takes the impact!
Here are a few exercises to try to see how coordinated and strong your feet are.
🦶🏼Great Toe Extension - Keep the ball of your foot and little toes on the ground, lift your big toe up.
🦶🏽 Digit Extension - Keep the ball of your foot on the floor and big toe on the floor, lift up your little toes.
🦶🏾 Toe Splay - Keep the ball of your foot on the floor, then extend and spread toes off of the floor.
With all of these exercise, try to hold the position 3 seconds and then relax. See if you can do 10!
