It is important to know that self-application of Rapé using Kuripe (self-applicator) is very different from application using Tepi (applicator for two people). The Kuripe is a sacred instrument, shaped like a V, in which we place our mouth at one end and the other at our nostrils, one at a time, to blow. During self-application, only your energy will circulate, different from double application where it is very important that the other person is well mentally and physically.

The ideal for a good self-application of Rapé is to find a quiet place and concentrate on your intention. The amount of Rapé will be defined by whoever will take it, this will be a matter of adaptation, as will the times, and it is recommended to consecrate a maximum of 3 times a day, or when necessary.

The angle of the kuripe for correct application of Rapé is more towards the base of the eyes than towards the center of the head. This reduces the chances of the powder going down the throat and being swallowed, causing discomfort.

Hapé is made from to***co, other herbs and tree ash. After being mixed, ground and sieved, it is transformed into a fine, aromatic powder. It is important to know the correct way to store hapé, so that it maintains its spiritual and energetic strength:

🍃Keep your hapé stored in a tightly closed container, avoiding air entry;

🍃Avoid storing in humid places;

🍃After placing the hapé in your hand, avoid returning it back to the container, the moisture in your hand may alter the strength and quality;

🍃If after a while the hapé starts to lose some of its strength, place it in the sun for half an hour, then carefully return it to the appropriate container.
