Another day onsite! Thank you to Matt Thomsen and Flexco for your assistance with the install of a new Super-Screw splice on a valued customers barge conveyor. Flexco not only installed but also trained the millwrights for future installations. This fastener is a great alternative to hot vulcanized splices.

Happy Halloween !!

It has been a roller coaster of emotions for the second and third generations of Lundeens. They have left a building that has been home for the last 45 years. Walt Lundeen started Applied Power Products in 1988 when he bought F. H. Bathke company where he previously was employed since the early 1960's. We have recently moved our Eagan, MN facility to join our die cutting division in Lakeville. With our two buildings we will have over 185,000 square feet of warehouse and office space to better serve our customers. The Lundeens could not have done all of this without the help of the great people that work at Applied Power Products. The Lundeens and APP are blessed to have such great employees. Here is to many more years!

We Moved! Our corporate office in Eagan, MN has moved south to Lakeville, MN. Now both of our facilities are directly across the street on Heron Way. We are very excited to be in our new facility. Over doubling our space is allowing us to improve many of our manufacturing and distribution processes. Thank you for all the hard work in making this move possible.

Applied Power Products is in search for a machine press operator. Machine press operators are responsible for setting up tooling and press, operate, tend to material, die, and cut parts from machine press.

Job Duties:

Set up and operate machines to make parts

Inspect parts for defects

Read prints or work orders to determine part specifications and tooling instructions and to plan operational sequences

Position, adjust, and secure material against stops, fixtures, or automatic feeder manually or with a forklift

Set machine stops or guides to specified lengths as indicated by scales, rules, or templates

Clean tooling punches

Compute data such as machine settings and applying knowledge of shop mathematics such as cutting multiple sheets at a time

Other tasks as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

Operation monitoring

Positive communication

Reading comprehension

Ability to work well with others

Strong attention to detail and organization
