Over the summer M&J Trucking helped support Eastview Marching Band. Their trailer was pulled by our Western Stars, drove by former alumnus.

Eastview Marching Band placed 2nd in state at Youth Music, with their last show of the year at the US Bank Stadium! Congratulations to all!

It is with deep sadness that we inform you all about the unexpected passing of our M & J Trucking company driver and friend, Chris Chmelik.

Chris was a kind, caring and dedicated friend to many. His numerous years of driving truck on construction projects within MN earned him a gold star within the family of truckers.

Our hearts go out to Chris’s family & to all of you at this difficult time.

Let’s all cherish the wonderful years we were able to share with Chris.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Perform preventative maintenance repairs and inspections on tractors, dump trucks, side dump and belly dump trailers as needed/requested.
- Perform brake jobs, wheel seals, s-cams, and bushings.
- Repair and adjust suspensions.
- Remove, replace, and adjust components.
- Perform alignments.
- Mounts, dismounts, repairs, and balances tires as needed.
- DOT, welding and fabricating experience are a plus.

Requirements:

- Minimum of one year prior related experience.
- Must be self-motivated, able and willing to work independently while motivating team efforts.
- Use effective time management techniques and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds.

Compensation Package:

- $20 - $40/hour based on skill level
- 40-50 hours a week
- Monday through Friday day shift
- No seasonal layoffs
- Paid time off
